I am Positively South African. I live in Durban, South Africa and believe in the promise South Africa holds to answering the questions surrounding the African problem. I believe that Afro-pessimism has no place in the world today and that we should rather focus on the solutions to Africa’s problems and not consume ourselves in the bleakness of the many problems.
I am the cofounder and was Managing Director of THUSA before moving fulltime into politics at the end of 2009. I’m passionate about our democracy and believe that tolerance, inspiration, entrepreneurship and a dogged commitment to democracy will see South Africa and its people prosper.
In public office, I presently represent the people of Ward 33 (Glenwood/Umbilo) on the eThekwini Municipal Council as a Ward Councillor.
