Looking for a good cause to give those old computers to?
Cell: 083 612 0492
My friend in the DA, Solly Msimanga, who runs a national programme to develop activism and leadership in rural South Africa emailed me today with a request for assistance, only now, I don’t have any clients looking to get rid of old machines. Maybe you know someone?
If anyone is able to help, please contact me or Solly directly.

“Hey Warwick
I have adopted a school in the township of Atteridgeville, west of Pretoria. This also happens to be my old high school which I matriculated from in 1997. What I have been able to do from my own pocket so far, was to replace ceiling boards in 4 of the classrooms, replaces some window frames and glasses which were broken and have some gardening going. There’s still painting to be done, some doors to be replaces and floor tiles to be fitted amongst other things. I will get to do these somehow.
I also noticed that the teachers there don’t have computers or printers to generate reports or to do other administrative tasks which could be simplified if they had the equipment. I would like to ask for your assistance in trying to get computers (even if it’s only 2 or 3 used ones ) and a printer for the school.
I can forward you the address of the school and details of the Principal if needed.
Please let me know if you will be able to help in anyway.
Kind regards,
Solly T Msimanga (Cell: 083 612 0492)”

You should chat to Edd, he used to be involved with a project that setup computer labs for schools, and they had a large room stacked full of old PCs. I may be wrong, but I think the project is now defunct?
